Job Summary :
Responsible for overseeing and developing the Clinical department including hiring, supervision, evaluation and scheduling. Develop, plan and implement strategies for program continuation and growth. Provide clinical training to clinical staff and interns. Must have a positive and supportive attitude toward the company and its overall success. Provide both clinical and personnel supervision of the clinical staff. Must have the ability to think globally, solve problems and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills. Assist with clinical aspects of clients prior to discharge, and "step-down". Accountable for clinical paperwork and monitoring of Clients Programs Schedule.
Education and Experience :
- Master’s degree in a mental health related field (psychology, social work, marriage & family, or mental health counseling) required.
- Must be a licensed Psychologist, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCDC, or equivalent in the State of practice. License must be current and in good standing.
- 3+ years of progressively responsible substance abuse program management experience and staff supervision, including expertise transforming clinical staff into a highly functional team. Experience preferred in the field of chemical dependency / substance abuse / psychiatric setting or human services field.
- Ability to work as a team member and possess strong management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and be flexible in relation to department needs
- Knowledge of Joint Commission standards within the Department
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws, Drug Free Workplace Policies, Workplace Violence
- Knowledge of Corporate Integrity and Compliance Programs. Strong computer literacy and in current technology. Knowledge of 12 Step Programs
