HCT is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at a 250 bed hospital in California. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Supervising maintenance and dissemination of drug information and cost-effective medication use by consulting with patients and hospital / medical staff, and educating hospital staff. Assisting staff pharmacists in discharging routine duties. Directing activities and providing professional technical guidance to pharmacy staff. Exercising professional judgment in imparting therapeutic and drug information to patients and health professionals. Requirements : Education : Bachelor degree in Pharmacy. Experience : A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; residency training preferred; competence in range of treatment for adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics. License : Licensed to practice in California required. Certifications : BLS required. Computer Skills : Working knowledge of clinical information systems (Meditech) preferred. All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, meal allowance, and trips home during the assignment.
