At NorthBay Healthcare the Clinical Dietitian is responsible for and has the authority to deliver nutrition care according to the philosophy, policies, and goals / objectives of the Nutrition Department. The Dietitian assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nutritional processes for individual patient care.
The Registered Dietitian makes determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward nutrition goals and utilizes a professional relationship with the patient and family to facilitate those goals. The Dietitian modifies and delivers care specific to the specific behaviors / needs of the pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient with in the scope of service of the Nutrition Department, including nutrition care of patients in Intensive Care, Stepdown, Medical, Surgical, and Emergency areas, as well as various outpatient areas within the system.

Qualifications
Education :
- B.S. degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Completion of Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)-approved or accredited internship with emphasis on clinical nutrition.
