This posting is for multiple openings of Exercise Physiologist at Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA. We offer day shifts for on-call / per diem and full-time opportunities.

Under the general direction of the Manager-Cardiac Pulmonary Services, the Exercise Physiologist clinician provides direct patient care for outpatients by utilizing appropriate knowledge and skills in collaboration with other members of the health care team; providing skilled, creative discipline-specific therapeutic services to cardiopulmonary rehab patients. This includes standardized fitness assessments and exercise prescription of all assigned patients, and the development of a treatment plan. May supervise volunteers or other support personnel.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree : Graduation from an accredited Exercise Science / Sport Science program
• Coursework / Training : Completion of internship
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• AHA-ALS certified, or able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of experience in an exercise related position (i.e., Exercise Instructor, Physical Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Aide, Athletic Trainer or Instructor, Personal Trainer) which may include school internship
