JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring smooth operation of our office by providing oversight for all clinical care activities, managing Medical Assistant staff, and providing excellent customer service to our patients. Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare setting and active MA certification or LVN license is required. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to medical assistant staff
- Oversee patient flow and clinic operations to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff
- Approve timesheets and monitor PTO and overtime
- Manage medical supply inventory and vaccines
- Collaborate with Corporate Trainers to coordinate staff training and development initiatives to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Identify opportunities to continuously enhance the efficiency and improvement of patient care in the setting
- Provide coverage for Back Office Medical Assistants when needed
- Oversee and manage Medical Assistant desktops
- Monitor provider schedules, add or block appointments, and reschedule patients as needed
- Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols, procedures, and standards of care
- Knowledge of and enforcement of all OSHA & HIPAA rules in a clinic setting
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and personnel information
