Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Oncology RN
Location : Dallas, TX
Schedule : Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation & Benefits :
Base Salary Range : 36.19−36.19−55.71 per hour (based on experience)
Relocation Assistance : Available (case by case)
Role Overview :
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and overseeing all unit operations during assigned shifts. This leadership role requires effective collaboration with staff, a focus on nursing care excellence, and alignment with the organization's mission to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee patient admission and discharge processes to ensure seamless care transitions.
Evaluate and enhance the quality of patient care services in collaboration with management.
Foster teamwork to achieve improved service outcomes.
Promote a patient-first philosophy and address service recovery needs.
Support staff recruitment, training, and development, including managing personnel matters.
Assist with staff scheduling and maintain productivity standards.
Ensure proper inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting, preferably in oncology.
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Licensure / Certifications :
Active RN license in TX or compact state required.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
ONS Chemotherapy / Biotherapy certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire).
Additional Information :
Trauma Level : Level II.
Virtual interviews available for non-local candidates.
