Job Summary
The Vice President of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the clinical performance of all skilled nursing facilities within the company. This executive leader ensures the highest standards of patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and implementation of best practices in clinical operations. The VP of Clinical Operations collaborates with regional and facility leadership to drive quality improvements, operational efficiency, and innovative healthcare solutions.
As a highly visible and hands-on leader, the VPCO is responsible for advancing organizational initiatives, achieving quality outcomes, and driving culture change efforts, all while aligning with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required, MSN or DNP strongly preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in skilled nursing facilities, including multi-site operations
- Deep knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations, CMS guidelines, and QAPI initiatives
- Proven record of designing and implementing scalable clinical programs and systems
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor clinical leaders
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, evaluate clinical outcomes, and drive organizational performance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationally with overnight stays as required
