Overview

The primary responsibility of the School Based Social Worker is to mobilize family school and community resources to enable students to learn as effectively as possible through prevention education outreach clinical activities and related services to eligible students. As a key member of the care team or mental health team the social worker will partner with school administrators teachers counselors families and community partners to develop and implement plans that provide specialized support for selected students throughout the course of the school year.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $28.25 / hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work / Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
