Description
Location : UCHealth Parkview Medical Center, US : CO : Pueblo
Department : Medical Staff Services
FTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift : Days
Pay : $36.19 - $54.28 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary : Participates in activities related to patient safety and quality programming. Measures, analyzes, and facilitates improvement in clinical performance and outcomes. Investigates occurrence reports and analyzes safety and quality trends.
Responsibilities :
- Understands key clinical quality and patient safety measures. Promotes the use of appropriate measures for clinical and operational services.
- Facilitates components of patient safety programs, incorporating industry best practices, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
- Helps identify priorities for implementation of performance improvement plans related to quality metrics and patient safety opportunities.
- Provides support to clinical and operational teams.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
