Overview
The Director of Cloud Services will provide leadership for the vision, planning, development, implementation, and support of cloud services and solutions. This function plays a critical role for M Health Fairview's ongoing success, providing business value as we transform to being data-driven and digitally enabled as an organization.
This leadership role is responsible for comprehensively understanding associated solutions necessary to enable and support the various system management capabilities across the enterprise. This role will work in close partnership with internal IT stakeholders (architecture, applications, analytics, technical operations), business partners (operations, clinical or shared services), and external partners (vendors, academic or others) to accomplish service delivery.
Key accountabilities including driving improved service levels and processes, as well as team competencies and business capabilities of the Cloud team. The role has substantial decision-making accountability within the areas of technology, talent, budget, and process. The role is accountable for delivering projects and services to the entire enterprise with a high level of budget responsibility and team member leadership, both direct and indirect.

Job Expectations :
- Provide vision, strategy and oversight for cloud implementation, continued delivery, ongoing support and reporting, leveraging both onshore and offshore resources to create a sustainable cloud practice that meets both operational and financial goals.
- Develop, communicate and execute the organization's cloud strategy, aligning it with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud managers, engineers, and architects. Work in close partnership with internal IT stakeholders (architecture, applications, analytics, technical operations), business partners (operations, clinical or shared services), and external partners (vendors, academic or others) to accomplish service delivery.
- Accountable to lead highly engaged teams in the cloud infrastructure, delivering the enterprise mission and vision and adhering to enterprise commitments / values. Work in collaboration with Human Resources to develop, implement and evaluate Talent strategies to engage, develop and retain talent.
- Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Manage cloud resource provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with and participate in continuous improvement of organizational standards, practices and methodologies
- Define, track, measure and report on critical success factors and key performance indicators
- Partner for success across the Information Technology ecosystem and with business partners and suppliers
- Efficiently plan and manage projects and services budgets, according to enterprise investments and strategies
- Ensure positive partner / customer experience through satisfaction surveys
- Proactively lead through organizational change
