Our client is looking for a Jr. to Mid-Level Cloud Systems Engineer. The Cloud Engineer will provide administration, configuration, troubleshooting, disaster recovery, and otherplanning / designsupport forcloudinfrastructure,and user identity. The candidate will be initially responsible for supporting the existing Microsoft Azure environment consisting of approximately 300 virtual servers supporting a little over 2,000 employees.

• The summary of the group is to architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud environments and supporting day-to-day operations; manage core infrastructure components and ensure high availability and performance and support IT and business departments through Azure virtual desktop and Azure virtual machines, Azure app proxies and Microsoft 365 services.

The candidate will have been a systems administrator; and at minimum, virtualization experience. Someone ideally would have 3-5 years of experience post college and someone who can do patch management, handling backups, spinning up new systems. This person will support the hardware / infrastructure for M365 mail migrations, Sharepoint data migrations, file server unstructured data moves into Sharepoint, supporting Azure virtual desktop.

Top Skills Details (MUST HAVE) :

1) Server Infrastructure patch management, backups, server infrastructure administration is a minimum required capability

2) Active Directory / Entra, Intune, M365

3) Azure Cloud / Sharepoint data migrations

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

3-5 years of experience in the design and implementation of Microsoft Windows server environment both physical and virtual

Broad Active Directory Domain Services experience managing privileged access, software restriction, and Windows authentication

Proficient in technical problem-solving techniques while installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows / Linux systems and servers.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00 / yr.
