Responsibilities

Develop the AWS Cloud discipline
Support team members in their professional growth and career development
Develop and implement a long-term plan for the AWS unit
Establish an organizational and managerial structure within the unit
Recruit cloud engineers and manage project staffing effectively
Build a high-performing team of Cloud Engineers
Manage growth and performance
Serve as the key technical liaison for our clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision
Collaborate across departments to align technical goals with EPAMs broader strategic objectives

Requirements

Professional experience in software engineering or systems engineering, particularly in cloud computing environments like AWS

Knowledge of public cloud computing services

Solid understanding of the software development life cycle, monitoring and security best practices

Track record in managing production infrastructure using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation

Advanced skill in at least one build automation tool (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, GoCD, etc.)

Familiarity with configuration management tools

Proficient in team management

Ability to engage with stakeholders effectively
