Job Description
Seeking caring Hospice Aide CNAs to join our compassionate team!
The Carpenter House of New Orleans, LA - an inpatient hospice facility, is seeking Hospice Aide CNAs - PRN to join our team and become part of our center of excellence as we provide hospice care to our patients and their loved ones.
We consider it an honor to walk with patients and families through this part of life's journey!
The Hospice Aide CNA is responsible for providing the patient with personal care and homemaking tasks as assigned within the guidelines established by both state and federal regulations. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, coworkers regarding patients' needs and care or concerns. Promotes positive relations with the families and patients as well as facility staff.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Completed High School or earned Equivalency Diploma
- Successful completion of a formal certification training program or a written skills test and competency evaluation
- Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience in a direct care setting
- CPR Certified
- Have dependable transportation, current driver’s license and auto insurance
