Job Summary :
At Comfort Squad Homecare Agency, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care that allows our clients to live safely and comfortably in their homes. As a Home Caregiver, you will deliver personalized assistance and support to clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met while promoting their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities :
Personal Care Assistance :
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking, transferring, and repositioning.
Medication and Health Monitoring :
Remind clients to take prescribed medications at appropriate times.
Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to the care manager or healthcare professional.
Household Support :
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences.
Companionship :
Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed.
Documentation and Communication :
Accurately document care provided and report any concerns or incidents promptly.
Maintain open communication with the care team and family members to ensure continuity of care.
Adherence to Policies :
Follow all Comfort Squad Homecare policies, procedures, and care plans.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus.
Experience : Prior experience in caregiving, homecare, or a related field is preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
Skills :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.
Ability to follow care plans and adapt to clients' individual needs.
Requirements :
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a background check.
