Requirements for a Non-CNA Caregiver :

• High school diploma or accredited GED
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, and dependable transportation to and from work
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of your total body weight, whichever is less
• Work experience or knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities is beneficial, but not required
• CNA, CMA, HHA, Caregiver or Direct Support experience is beneficial, but not required
• Availability to attend a two week, weekday, day time orientation (M-F 8a-4p)
• Other beneficial experience : Caregiving, Direct Care, CMA, Home Health, Patient care, Medical Supports, Direct Support Professional, Teaching, Behavior Specialist, Behavior Trainer, Nursing Home, education, Behavior Technician, Teacher, Para, Psychology, Special education, medical experience, mental health, DSP, DSW, health care, Medical Aide, Restorative Aide, Elder care, home supports, Direct Support, 1st shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift, PRN, Non - CNA.
