Description

• Set up and operate HAAS CNC mill and lathe. • Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to program and machine parts to specifications. • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure smooth operation. • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure high-quality production. • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve product quality. • Document and track production progress, including machine settings, tool usage, and material consumption. • Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and machine parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining preferred. • Proven experience (2+ years) as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. • Proficiency with CNC programming languages (., G-code, M-code). • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. • Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality control procedures. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Knowledge of multi-axis CNC machines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
