The Job
A CNC Machine Tool Application Engineer contributes to the success of Hartwig by working hand-in-hand with our Sales Engineers to provide support and be a technical resource to ensure satisfaction. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on the us to provide the best manufacturing solutions and support to the CNC machine tool industry. This position is based in St Louis, Missouri and supports customers in the surrounding area.
Main responsibilities of this full-time position include :
- Evaluates manufacturing processes and recommending industry-leading solutions
- Develops and tests alternative processing methods
- Performs time studies for process improvement recommendations
- Oversees CNC machine tool installations
- Conducts research and assist in presenting proposals
- Performs on-site programming and machine operation training
- Facilitates demonstrations by setting up and programming the machine tools
