Job Description :
The CNC Lathe Machinist must be able to set up and operate standard lathe and CNC machine tools, while reading and understanding blueprints and written specifications. Possess process knowledge and the ability to use shop mathematics. Skillfully use all machinists' hand tools and measuring instruments, and be capable of shaping metal bars, forgings, and castings to precise dimensions and finishes. Must be familiar with various metals, speeds, and feeds used in machining. Should be able to operate one or more machines to meet production and quality standards with maximum productivity.
