Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor tem members

• Review customer RFQ and provide accurate, timely quote responses

• Develop machining prosseses

• Program, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for production and prototype work

• Edit programs at the machine

• Perform inspections to ensure conformance of specifications

• Interpret blueprints for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance & instructions

• Select and secure holding fixtures, tools, etc

• Perform daily maintenance of machines and/or troubleshooting

• Ensure safty and ISO9001/AS9100 standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical certificate in machining/manufacturing

• 10+ years previous experience in operating CNC lathe and mill machines

• G & M Code experrience

• CNC Programming experience (SurfCAM is a plus!)

• Knowledge of safty protocaols and shop procedures

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
