Job Description:
Are you a highly organized and detailed person? Do you enjoy coordinating various projects to make sure they are done with the highest level of quality and efficiency? Victra is the leading exclusive, premium retailer for Verizon with a mission of connecting technology to life in the most trusting and profitable way. As a Store Construction Manager, you will provide administrative support to the Store Construction Department and coordinate the various retail construction projects for our network of stores nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Signage Program for Victra owned and operated stores and properties
- Manage External Vendor Relationships
- Oversee the administration of Victra Construction proposal requests process
- Oversee the administration of Victra’s Purchase Order process
- Act as the liaison between Victra Construction, Purchasing and Billing departments and external vendors and contractors
- Manage the administrative process for Capital Projects
- Conduct regular status meetings with internal and external partners
- Ensure project invoice is complete and all close-out documentation is received
- Partner with internal teams to analyze and assess vendor performance and costs effectiveness
- Develop and administer tracking and reporting systems to support Victra Construction and other departments as necessary
- Using Smartsheet or similar systems, ensure project and process tracking systems are created, implemented and maintained
- Track and report on Department budgets and spending
- Analyze and assess spending and identify and recommend cost savings strategies
- Oversee Utility Management for Company Locations
- Ensure utility accounts are set-up and invoices are paid in a timely manner, so service interruptions are avoided
- Oversee Victra’s Co-op Account Management
- Ensure claims are entered in a timely manner after project completion
- Follow-up on rejections of claims and subsequent submissions to secure Co-op funds
- Partner with FP&A Department to ensure Co-op funds are fully utilized
- Oversee Processes and Procedures creation, documentation and implementation for Victra Construction Department
- Manage Special Projects as assigned
What We Are Looking For:
You bring considerable initiative, latitude and independent judgment. You also have strong listening skills and the ability to interact across all levels within an organization. We are looking for the Store Construction Manager to also bring:
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of experience required in related field
- Proficiency in all standard Microsoft Office programs required
- Previous experience with business services, technical services, telecom or similar technology-based background preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
(unless accommodation is required/requested for an employee under the ADA)
Travel Requirements:
- 10%-20%
