Overview

Skyworks Greensboro Design Center is seeking a motivated student for Module Design Co-op. You will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end module, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. When you join our team in Greensboro, you’ll you will be part of a multi-discipline team developing PA, RF switches, LNA, front-end modules for the high volume and fast paced cellular handset market.

Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following :

• Work with experienced engineers to design / develop multi-chip modules
• Evaluate and optimize prototypes of multi-chip modules
• Run simulations use design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc.
• Participate and present in design reviews
• Perform lab testing using standard RF test equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians

Required Experience and Skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
