Winkley Orthotics and Prosthetics has an immediate opening for a full time Certified Orthotist or Certified Prosthetist Orthotist, or Certified Prosthetic / Orthotic Assistant in the Saint Paul, Minnesota area. Board eligible residents are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate and assess patients to determine their specific prosthetic and orthotic needs.
• Design and fabricate custom prosthetic and orthotic devices using advanced technology and materials.
• Fit and adjust devices to ensure optimal comfort, functionality, and alignment.
• Provide comprehensive patient education on the use and care of devices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technology and practices.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
• Provide on-call service in a scheduled rotation for evenings and weekend trauma for local hospitals

Requirements :

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Proficiency in performing physical examinations and assessing patient needs
• Strong patient service skills and ability to provide compassionate care
• Current board certification in Prosthetics and / or Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC), or
• A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and / or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and / or Orthotics.
• In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure may be required as well
• A valid driver's license

Pay : $55,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
