Job description

Job Title : 5-Axis CNC Programmer (HyperMill)

Location : Denver, CO

Shift : Day Shift

Pay : $45–$60 / hr (DOE)

Job Description :

Industrial Talent Group is seeking an experienced 5-axis CNC Programmer to join our team. This role involves programming and operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-precision parts according to engineering blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities :

  • Program and operate 5-axis CNC machines (e.g., Haas, DMG Mori, or similar)
  • Utilize HyperMill or similar software to create efficient machining programs
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files for accurate machining
  • Set up machines, optimize cutting paths, and adjust parameters for precision
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor machining processes, maintain tight tolerances, and ensure quality standards ( Aerospace experience is a big plus! )
  • Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality control teams to optimize production
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance with company and industry standards
  • Leadership opportunities available for interested candidates (big plus!)

Requirements :

  • 3–5 years of experience programming and operating 5-axis CNC machines
  • Strong knowledge of G-code, tool selection, and machining strategies
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering specifications
  • High attention to detail and precision machining experience
  • Experience with quality control and inspection processes
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for machine setup and operation
  • Certification or coursework in CNC machining or a related field is a plus
