The Accounts Receivable Credit Representative is responsible for determining the credit worthiness of new and existing customers. This includes processing of customer credit applications, analyzing customer data and external data to determine credit worthiness, follow up on open credit applications and the setup of new customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Process new customer credit setup requests including processing and reviewing customer credit applications, communicating the decision with the Shorr Account Executive, escalating issues, and following up on open applications. This includes leveraging credit trade references, bank reference and google searches when necessary.
• Leverage Dun and Bradstreet reports to determine credit worthiness of customer accounts
• Monitoring credit worthiness and authorizing release based on customer circumstances and information from related parties.
• Assist with billing activities, including portal submissions, summary invoices, and changes to customer requirements.

The targeted hourly rate for this position is between $24 to $26 per hour plus targeted bonus, depending on skills and experience of the selected candidate.
