Position Purpose The Credit/Collection Analyst manages all credit and collection-related activities for assigned customers/locations.Essential FunctionsContact, collect and notate all past due accounts on a weekly basis. Establishing payment arrangements with customers when necessaryProcess credit applications by obtaining and analyzing public and non-public information on customers to continuously assess credit risk for new and existing accounts, including long-term and potential customersAssists customers with account reconciliations when necessaryDevelops and maintains good working relationships with customers and sales departmentUpdate existing active customers credit applicationAnalyzes credit information, develops and changes credit lines as necessary in accordance with Company PolicyPrepared for regular credit meetings with updated collection notesMaintains a DSO per company goalsinvoicing and payments methods with customersAdministers Dormant Funds policy for assigned customersApproves and prepares Lien Waivers and coordinates end of contract requirementsFlexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travelPerforms other necessary functions as assignedQualifications PreferredKnowledge3-5 years related experience in finance, accounting, or related fieldBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferredComfortable with learning and using new technologiesSufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite Interpersonal:A positive attitude and the ability to maintain professional, long-term co-worker, customer, vendor, and business relationshipsService oriented and a dedication to win customers 'for life'Strong professional verbal and written communications skillsAbility to work effectively across all levels of managementDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, simultaneous projects and conflicting deadlinesAn innovative approach to resolving problems and delivering resultsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
