Key Responsibilities Manage collection processes related to medical accounts receivable, focusing on cash collections and accounts over 90 days Research outstanding balances, take necessary collection actions, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies Negotiate payment plans and interact with third-party collection agencies while maintaining professional communication with team members Required Qualifications High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required; some college is a plus Minimum of one year of experience in medical collections with knowledge of managed care and insurance reimbursement Familiarity with automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ preferred Understanding of basic accounting practices and coding (ICD-9, CPT, HCPCS) Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to type 40 wpm and use a 10-key calculator
