Job Description

Job Summary : BBSI is looking for MIG and TIG welders. Will be welding metal aluminum boxes for industrial electrical control panels. Will have pass weld test. Tig and Mig weld test on 12, 14 and 16 gauge, also welds on heavy tubing that is 3 / 8" and 1 / 4" wall to test fitter skills.

Job Title : Swing Shift Welder

Job ID : 73100

Pay Rate : $20 / hour, plus $3.00 / hr shift differential

Job Location : West Jordan

Shift : 4 : 00pm-2 : 30am, Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities : Applicants could be required to do any of the following :

Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints

Qualifications :

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to read blueprints

Knowledge of metallurgy

Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, arc, and oxy-fuel welding

Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
