Job Title : Commercial Loan Assistant

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities :

As a Commercial Loan Assistant, you'll providesupport for multiple officers in the Commercial Group, including the RegionalPresident, Market President, Commercial Lenders, and Private Banking Officers,as well as working directly with customers. You'll uphold the German American high standard of excellence as thecustomer's go-to person, encouraging customers to call anytime with whateverneeds they may have. With a limiteddegree of supervision, you are a problem solver, independently handling a widerange of administrative tasks, and so much more.

What You'll Do :

Day in the Life - You'll provideexcellent support to lenders, allowing them to concentrate their time on salesand new business. Your support includesobtaining preliminary information needed by the lender, assisting with dailycustomer activities and inquiries, and setting up appointments for the signingof documents. You also work directlywith customers. Communication is key asyou support the lender and customer from the beginning, obtaining preliminaryinformation, all the way through the end, reviewing documents, such as the closingchecklist and other documentation for proper execution. Yours are the final set of eyes, making sureall elements of the transactions are obtained. Other customer contact mayinclude collecting information needed by the lender, credit analyst team, orattorneys, and contacting clients about sensitive matters, including overdraftsand past due payments.

What it Takes :

Ability to : communicate effectively (written and verbally), maintain confidentiality, work with speed and accuracy, grasp technical information quickly, and work independently and as a team member.

Proficiency in : Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Bonus Points :

Bilingual

Knowledge of Banking, especially in the commercial area
