Job Description

The Roofing Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate estimates for commercial and residential roofing projects. This role will ensure to identify and estimate the materials, labor, and other costs required for each job. The Estimator will also be responsible for communicating with clients, vendors and other pertinent parties to ensure that estimates are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates utilizing The EDGE & Onscreen estimating software.
Estimate Preparation for Reroof & New Constructions
Handle change orders
Scheduled & Monitor bid calendar
Prepare project specific proposals outlining such items as anticipated or predetermined staging and hoisting locations as well as roof installation details and general construction procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of work roofing estimating / sales experience

Critical and abstract thinking skills.

High aptitude in math and language arts (writing).

Competent PC skills (Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite)

Knowledge of The Edge & Onscreen software, a plus

Ability to read and interpret construction documents

Must be able to pass background & drug screening

Position may require occasional climbing, balancing, heavy lifting, stooping, kneeling, and or crawling. This position may require sitting for extended periods of time, or require being on your feet for an extended period of time.
