ATW, headquartered in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area, is North America’s largest vertically integrated trailer manufacturer. The company was formed through the combination of Big Tex and American Trailer Works in 2016. Its nationally recognized brands include Big Tex Trailers, CM Truckbeds, PJ Trailers, BWise Trailers, Carry-On Trailer, Dakota Bodies, RC Trailers, and BigTex Trailer World. ATW operates several manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and retail stores. Its products are sold to dealers, retailers, Big Box retailers and OEMs, all of which serve a variety of end markets including agriculture, construction, landscaping, recreational, automotive, and general industrial markets.
Summary :
Responsible for developing and managing all aspects of sourcing and supplier management process for a central strategic procurement team, supporting multiple business units in a manufacturing and distribution environment. This role includes : Developing Category Strategies, Coordinates Sourcing Activities, Manages Supplier Relationships and supports Operational Stockholders.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Manage supply base and spend to achieve year over year goals of continuous improvement in the areas of Quality, Delivery, Service, and Cost
- Develop and execute supplier and category strategies
- Deep understanding of commodity markets and cost drivers to deliver savings and manage associated price risks
- Manage spend reductions projects through RFI, RFP processes and utilize appropriate support tools to enhance sustainable results
- Deliver value-added results to the organization by applying financial analysis principles and procurement discipline
- Demonstrates high level of commitment to teamwork and supports cross-functional team involvement with two-way, open communication in all interactions
- Deliver excellence in procurement activities including; spend analytics, strategy development, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen understanding of relevant cost drivers
