JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer 6 - Communication & Network Systems
LOCATION: El Segundo, CA
PAY RATE: $128/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance Requirement: Current Tier 5 (T5) / SSBI required. U.S. Citizenship required. Candidate must agree to Continuous Evaluation (CE).

Summary:

• Lead the design and development of SIGINT systems to meet mission requirements and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor, data acquisition, and data processing systems.

• Conduct system performance analysis and testing, including environmental testing and data validation.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for system design, testing, and operational procedures.

• Stay current on advancements in SIGINT technologies and recommend enhancements to existing systems.

• Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and program management activities.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Requirements:

• Current Tier 5 (T5) / SSBI required. U.S. Citizenship required. Candidate must agree to Continuous Evaluation (CE).

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.

• Proven experience designing, integrating, and testing SIGINT systems.

• Strong knowledge of sensor technologies, data acquisition, and data processing techniques.

• Understanding of communication systems and data transmission protocols.

• Experience with simulation and modeling tools for sensor and system design.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
