Job description

Local, well-established building supply company has partnered with Aspen Personnel Service to find a confident, customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Answer phones

Provide pricing and quotes over the phone

Counter Sales

Work closely with general contractors and general public

Develop product bids based on client needs

Write up orders accurately and efficiently

Utilize the POS system to process payments

Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely product delivery

Perform a variety of other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience :

Excellent patience and customer service skills are a must

2+ years of experience in inside sales and / or customer service

Experience in the construction or building products industry is preferred

Strong math and computer skills required

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Schedule :

Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Salary :

20 - $24 per hour, DOE
