Description
Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Communications Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between our organization and the public, utilizing your communication skills to enhance our brand's visibility and reputation. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing communication strategies that resonate with our target audience, ensuring consistent messaging across various platforms.
Salary Range : $21.00 - $31.00 hourlyLocation : Baton Rouge, LA
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communications materials.Manage social media accounts, crafting engaging content and monitoring online interactions.Coordinate and execute promotional events, including press conferences and community outreach initiatives.Maintain relationships with media representatives, bloggers, and other influencers to promote company initiatives.Analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage different audiences.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.Experience with content creation, including blogs, articles, and newsletters.Benefits
