As we continue our rapid expansion from Singapore and Portugal into Kenya and beyond, we are looking for an experienced Academic Affairs Director to lead and enhance our educational initiatives.
The Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Affairs Director with a strong background in private international schools and outdoor education. The successful candidate will drive the strategic development and implementation of world-class educational programmes that align with international curricula (IGCSE, IB, etc.) while ensuring our participants develop a lifelong passion for environmental conservation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage engaging, high-quality educational content tailored to the needs of private international schools, seamlessly integrating with IGCSE, IB, and other relevant curricula.
- Build and lead a world-class education team capable of delivering exceptional learning experiences at scale, ensuring alignment with OrcaNation’s strategic growth.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with private international schools, ensuring our offerings meet their evolving academic and extracurricular needs.
- Design immersive and impactful outdoor education experiences that instil a love for marine and terrestrial ecosystems while fostering environmental stewardship.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure they are fully informed of our educational capabilities and capacity, helping drive engagement with new and existing school partners.
- Oversee the development and implementation of conservation and sustainability initiatives that enhance our educational differentiation and drive real-world impact.
- Define and measure the effectiveness of our educational programmes through data-driven evaluation methods, including surveys and feedback loops with schools, students, and parents.
- Ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSEQ) compliance across all educational operations.
- Support due diligence efforts for new partnerships, acquisitions, and joint ventures to expand OrcaNation’s reach and impact.
- Govern and maintain educational content repositories, ensuring accessibility, intellectual property protection, and continual updates.
- Drive the adoption of innovative tools and processes to enhance scalability and operational excellence.
