Your Role in Caring

  • Perform thorough patient evaluations and order diagnostic tests to develop tailored care plans
  • Assess and manage acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
  • Guide patients and their families through prevention strategies, wellness techniques, and chronic condition management
  • Prescribe medications and treatment protocols within your scope of practice
  • Engage in patient follow-ups and oversee chronic care plans
  • Work hand-in-hand with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain precise and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Necessary Certifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent credential
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to secure within 90 days)
