Job Description
The RN Supervisor serves as the clinical leader for our Home Health agency, overseeing patient care operations, staff supervision, and clinical compliance. This role ensures all care delivered meets the highest standards of quality, compassion, and regulatory integrity.
The RN Supervisor plays a key role in coordinating new patient admissions, quality assurance, and communication between patients, clinicians, and administrative staff. The position includes occasional travel to patients’ homes to conduct supervisory, start-of-care, or high-acuity visits as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Clinical Oversight & Documentation Review
- Review and finalize OASIS assessments for accuracy and compliance prior to locking.
- Review, approve, and sign Plans of Care (POC) ensuring physician orders and clinical documentation align with regulatory standards.
- Conduct chart reviews and audits to ensure completeness, timeliness, and adherence to agency policies and Medicare guidelines.
- Identify documentation trends and provide feedback or corrective action to improve quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with leadership on QA initiatives, performance improvement plans, and internal audits.
