Job description
A company is looking for a Clinician Coding Liaison in Surgical Oncology.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver proactive coding education through various channels, covering relevant coding guidelines and payer requirements
Lead onboarding and compliance training for physicians and APPs to ensure accurate documentation
Monitor Epic work queues to ensure timely charge submissions and reduce claim denials
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Coding Specialist (CCS), Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P), or Professional Coder (CPC) certification
Completion of advanced training through a recognized or accredited program equivalent to post-secondary education
High school diploma or GED required
Typically requires 4 years of experience in expert-level professional coding
Additional specialty credential preferred
