Community Engagement Manager Job Description
Objective:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Community Engagement Manager to play a pivotal role in building and strengthening our brand relationships within the community. As a manager-level position, you will be responsible for representing our organization at events, fostering connections with referral providers, and ensuring our brand is positively perceived. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and outgoing individual with a passion for community engagement and a knack for relationship-building.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Community Presence:Attend community events, fairs, and gatherings to represent the organization.Act as the face of the brand, engaging with community members and establishing a positive presence.
- Relationship Building:Cultivate and maintain relationships with referral providers, including healthcare professionals, social service agencies, and other relevant organizations.Establish partnerships and collaborations that enhance the organization's visibility and impact.
- Brand Representation:Ensure consistent and positive representation of the organization's brand at all community engagements.Distribute promotional materials, brochures, and information to raise awareness of our services.
- Impression Gathering:Gather and analyze impressions and feedback from community members, referral providers, and event attendees.Provide regular reports on community sentiments and perceptions to inform strategic decision-making.Document impressions/contacts/feedback thru salesforce system
- Event Coordination:Plan and coordinate organization-sponsored events to engage the community.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events and initiatives.
- Networking:Actively participate in local business and community networking groups.Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the organization's network and influence.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Proven experience in community engagement, event management, or a related role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to represent the brand professionally and build positive relationships.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a passion for community involvement.
- Flexibility to attend events during evenings and weekends.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Kavis Healthcare, Inc., (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
- Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
- Must have the ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills is essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making
- Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work
- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with office colleagues, the franchise owner, clients and the community
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must have the ability to operate office equipment
- Must have computer skills and ability to learn new systems (e.g Salesforce)
- Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required
- Must have reliable transportation to go to sales loctaions
