Goldman Magdalin Straatsma, LLP is a prominent defense law firm specializing in Workers' Compensation law in California. Our experienced professionals handle all aspects of Workers' Compensation law matters from subrogation to defense of 132a discrimination claims. We strive to reduce our clients' exposure in a professional, fair, and expeditious manner with a focus on reaching settlements efficiently.

We offer the option for our attorneys to work in-person, hybrid or fully-remote (so long as they are domiciled within California). We offer a training and mentorship program to ensure our associates are keep abreast of developments in the law.

Responsibilities

The Associate will provide legal advice to clients, conduct research, negotiate settlements and handle all aspects of Workers' Compensation cases in various WCAB venues.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Legal expertise in Workers' Compensation law
Strong research skills
Effective negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
