Job Summary
The Compensation Analyst conducts analysis and interpretation related to the organizations compensation programs. This role is directly involved with evaluation and analysis to determine whether the organization is paying salaries (and incentives) that are equitable and competitive within market place. These analysts develop communicate and implement all components of recognition and rewards programs for the inclusion of base pay bonuses and incentives as well as oversee various aspects of compliance as it relates to minimum wage and FLSA. Their aim is to assist the company attract competent associates and keep them.
Responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience in any compensation related activities.
- 2 to 3 years experience as a compensation analyst or in any area of HR administration is an advantage
- High-level proficiency in Excel (including but not limited to pivot tables sorting charts and formatting).
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills to discern variances and trends
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership coaching and / or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- Excellent time management interpersonal communication presentation organization decision-making and planning skills.
- Able to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning associate information.
- Ability to use software and hardware effectively including MS Office Visio and Access.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
