An Identity and Access Management Operations Analyst, reports to the IAM Manager and executes the processes and duties necessary to maintain the successful operation of the IAM team’s portfolio of services. The role of an IAM Operations Analyst is to work with various departments within an organization to help drive access control initiatives in support of internal policies, regulatory compliance, and industry standards. The IAM analyst role typically provides IAM expertise and guidance to various business units and executes processes to maintain the normal functioning of the IAM program.
- Support the IAM provisioning team with administering user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM issues.
- Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
- Work with IT partners, business, and application teams to understand their roles and responsibilities as it pertains to required access rights.
- Create and manage the creation of access roles for business teams.
- Initiate, manage and review IAM access certifications.
- Interface with audit teams to provide evidence of adherence to IAM governance controls.
- Maintain documentation of the IAM processes and procedures.
- Design and update IAM based reporting and metrics to the IAM Manager and stakeholders.
- Provide training to new users on the IAM system when required.
- Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in the organization’s business needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of identity and access management best practices.
- Document IAM processes and procedures.
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
- May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert.
- Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.
- Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

The pay range for this role is $53,560.00 to $80,340.00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
