Management Resources is seeking an IT Auditor for a 4 month project with potential to extend. This is 100% remote, must be within the USA. The IT Auditor will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of IT systems and processes by conducting thorough audits and reviews. Based in Plano, Texas, this position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to critical organizational goals.

Responsibilities for the IT CONTRACT role :

• Conduct detailed audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to evaluate system performance and security.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather data and provide clear communication regarding audit findings.
• Review access permissions and user roles to ensure proper security protocols are followed.
• Prepare audit reports that document findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP tools to analyze financial and operational data.+
• Implement audit programs that align with industry standards such as CobiT and DCAA.
• Conduct application penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and enhance system security.
• Monitor ongoing compliance initiatives and recommend updates to policies and procedures.
• Assist in the review and evaluation of organizational processes to identify areas for optimization.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT auditing or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting functions, audit programs, and IT audit methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as CobiT, DCAA, and ERP systems.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with access reviews and user role evaluations.
• Proficiency in creating audit plans, reports, and findings documentation.
• Hands-on experience with application penetration testing and security assessments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
