Job descriptionConduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance. Partner with IT and leadership to prioritize and address security risks proactively. Oversee security monitoring and threat detection using Microsoft Sentinel. Act as a key player in incident response and investigations, ensuring timely action on security threats and breaches. Work with internal teams to improve security controls and reduce risk exposure. Work closely with IT, operations, and leadership to embed security best practices across the company. Conduct security training and awareness programs to keep employees informed about cybersecurity risks and best practices. Stay on top of emerging security threats, industry trends, and regulatory changes that could impact the company. Recommend new security tools, controls, or processes to improve our security posture. 4+ years of experience in security and compliance roles, with a background in information security, risk management, or IT security operations. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.). Experience developing security policies and procedures in a corporate environment. Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (preferably Microsoft Sentinel) for monitoring and threat detection. Strong incident response and security operations experience. Ability to conduct security risk assessments and audits, translating findings into actionable security improvements. Excellent collaboration and communication skills—able to explain security to non-technical audiences and work across teams. Experience with cloud security principles and best practices (Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms). Experience working with security certifications and audits (ISO 27001, SOC 2). Knowledge of Microsoft security tools and frameworks. Background in network security, endpoint security, or identity and access management (IAM). Experience establishing and leading a security team. We’re looking for a Security and Compliance Manager to lead our Information Security Management System (ISMS) efforts and ensure our company stays ahead of security threats and compliance requirements. This role is foundational—you’ll be the only dedicated security professional in the company, setting the stage for future security initiatives and possibly growing a security team over time.
You’ll be responsible for developing security policies, conducting assessments, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You’ll collaborate closely with IT and other teams to ensure security isn’t just a checklist but a core part of how we operate.
