Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Clinical Practice and Quality, the Compliance Specialist performs and / or oversees a variety of associated administrative, staff support, and planning activities in support of the Compliance Team
- Maintains compliance matters database and coordinates the intake of compliance complaints daily. Conducts QA reviews of database on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Assists with monitoring & auditing compliance metrics required by the Company
- Assists with the preparation of reports for the Board of Directors
- Helps the Chief Compliance Officer with implementing the Compliance Work Plan and assists with monthly reporting of Compliance & Healthy Insurance Portability Accountability Act efforts and investigations
- Provides assistance at multiple levels as needed in order to complete projects on time and stay in compliance with Company and regulatory requirements
- Provides administrative support to the team to include preparing, proofing and editing documents; managing staff calendars, timekeeping and communications, scheduling meetings, and organizing and maintaining electronic and hard copy files
- Other duties as assigned
