Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Product Compliance and Sustainability Specialist to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ .
The purpose of this position is the Product Compliance and Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives. This role also provides support in product compliance and supply chain responsibility, by interpreting regulations and ensuring compliance.
The key responsibilities of the Product Compliance and Sustainability Specialist include, but are not limited to :
- Responsible for analyzing manufactured assemblies for compliance with EU RoHS, REACH, China RoHS, and specific customer restricted substance requirements.
- Interface with suppliers to obtain substance information for components
- Gensuite and conflict minerals reporting, supply chain responsibility
- Product Compliance Evaluations for New Material Approvals
- Customer Sustainability Requests / Surveys
- Evaluate, manage, and prepare site sustainability data for annual reporting
- Lead and oversee site projects to meet corporate sustainability initiatives
- Develop sustainability program, visuals and training for employees
