A company is looking for a Linguist to perform linguistic analyses and support data-based model improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform linguistic analyses on large datasets and assess AI model outputsConduct typological and sociolinguistic research on various languagesCollaborate with engineers and research scientists to communicate linguistic findingsRequired QualificationsGraduate degree in Linguistics or a related field; PhD is a plus3+ years of experience in applying theoretical linguistics to language technologyNative or near-native proficiency in PortugueseProficiency in Python and experience with SQLBackground in corpus linguistics and experience with Natural Language Processing techniques
