Reports to : Chief Information Officer
FLSA Status : Salaried, Non-Exempt
Work Schedule : 12 months; M-F 7 : 30 a.m. – 3 : 30 p.m.
Position Overview :
The IT Support Specialist will assist the Chief Information Officer and Director of IT with troubleshooting and daily maintenance of individual computers and the network. Teaching in the Early Childhood classrooms is essential for this position. Perform other work as assigned by the Chief Information Officer.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform imaging / provisioning tasks and updates on all endpoint devices.
- Assist with administering Mobile Device Management.
- Monitor printer supplies and replacement of cartridges.
- Respond to user requests for technical assistance and requests for service.
- Assist with coordinating repairs and warranty service of all devices.
- Maintain network port database.
- Prepare and update lesson plans for Early Childhood classes.
- Perform ongoing professional development for the faculty and staff
- Maintain technology inventory database.
- Ensure faculty laptop backups remain current.
- Coordinate loaner laptops checkout.
- Perform annual summer duties (cleaning and relabeling devices, recycling retired equipment, and maintaining all cabling).
- In consultation with the Head of School, Chief Information Officer, and Division Heads, coordinate academic professional development and training of faculty in technology
- Reinforce best practices of digital citizenship and liaise with the Chief Information Officer in situations where students are not following these best practices
- Work in collaboration with the Academic Technology Coordinator – Lower School in order to help support Early Childhood technology needs
- Serve on the school’s Technology Committee.
- Assist Chief Information Officer and Director of IT with special projects.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.

o Lifting and / or carrying up to 50 pounds to waist height.
