ABOUT THE ROLE

Provides concrete and related industry testing with a focus on three areas : research & development, manufacturing control, and customer service.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Prepare and mix concrete batches
• Perform physical testing on freshly batched and hardened concrete (e.g. temperature, slump, air content, unit weight, time of setting, compressive and flexural strength)
• Perform other concrete related testing and services per ASTM & AASHTO approved methods
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Other duties as assigned
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional Education Preferred : Associate's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience

Field of Study Preferred : Engineering or Technical Degree

Required Work Experience : Experience in concrete or construction related field preferred

Required Training / Certifications : ACI concrete field testing technician level 1 and / or ACI concrete strength testing

Required Technical Skills : Proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
