CNC Machine Operator

Shift : 3rd Monday-Friday 7pm-7am

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in a production environment focused on automotive and transportation-related components. The ideal candidate will operate CNC lathes and mills, ensuring the smooth running and monitoring of a line of CNC machines. This role includes performing quality checks on parts using a Plug Gauge, Micrometer, and Calipers, as well as handling minor tool changes and daily preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a line of 3-5 CNC machines.
• Perform quality checks on parts using Plug Gauge, Micrometer, and Calipers.
• Make necessary offsets and adjustments to the machines.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks, including basic cleaning, changing coolant / oil, and greasing.
• Handle minor tool changes, such as changing an insert or bar in a lathe.

Work Environment

The work environment is temperature-controlled, though it can still get hot near the machines. Fans are provided to help with the heat. Steel-toe shoes are required, and all other personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear plugs and safety glasses will be provided. Shifts are Friday - Sunday from 7am to 7pm, with training on Thursday - Sunday from 7am to 7pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50
