Role Summary

As the VP / Director of Civil Paving Operations for our client's Polyester Concrete Division, you will be instrumental in overseeing multiple projects from inception through completion. Your strategic leadership will ensure that operations are efficient and safe, directly impacting the company's reputation and success within the civil engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of direct reports, fostering both professional growth and a collaborative environment.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring project alignment and successful collaboration.
• Oversee project management activities during both pre-construction and post-construction phases to optimize project delivery and efficiency.
• Estimate necessary resources and develop comprehensive project schedules, including CPM, 3-week, and 9-day schedules.
• Conduct thorough pre-costing activities and manage job cost reports, including accounts receivable and payable aspects associated with assigned projects.
• Conduct site safety surveys to evaluate and enhance the implementation of safety programs, including monitoring subcontractor safety performance for OSHA compliance.
• Prepare and manage supplier purchase orders and subcontracts while upholding company and client safety policies.
